Man-to-man Talk with Job, Enos's Father Over Drinking and Poor Parenting - not an easy task

Looking at a man right in the eyes and talking about their mess is no child's play. It is a hard thing to do because men are mostly defensive and egoistic. Each time I get down to a serious talk with a fellow man I am guided by this piece -

Proverbs 27:17 King James Version (KJV) Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Job needed a serious talk and I knew he was likely to listen to us after the outpouring of love over his home, himself and his two boys. He still appeared defensive, but at least he listened. We would continue supporting him and his children and also keep praying for him.
