Toazted interviews the Academic in 2016 at the Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival. The Academic consists of four Irish schoolmates aiming to conquer the world with their excellent indie rock. In 2013, they started playing together in the small Irish town of Mullingar and they are steadily making progress. Now The Academic is ready for the big stage, as evidenced by their single 'Different'. Their debut album 'Northern Boy' will be released very soon.
