STORYLINE:
Supporters demanding the reinstatement pf fprmer president Evo Morales instatement in the August presidential elections. f former Bolivian President Evo Morales clashed with police near the Government Palace demanding his reinstatement in the August presidential elections.

Morales was barred by a constitutional ruling and failed to register his candidacy.

He faces an arrest warrant for a separate legal case.

His supporters argue that without him, there's no democracy, blaming President Luis Arce for a "judicial plot."

The ruling MAS party, which has governed for 18 years, is fractured by this dispute.
