The house hosted my 80-year-old father and mother and my brother's wife and children. Eight children were inside this house and were hit without doing anything, they were not part of any organization, innocent people who were hit at 12:30 while asleep. STORYLINE:
At least 13 Palestinians were killed in overnight Israeli strikes over the Gaza Strip into Thursday, according to a videographer collaborating with The Associated Press who counted the bodies in two hospitals.

Four people were killed after a car in Gaza City was struck late Wednesday.

Eight people, including two women and three children, were killed in a strike on a house in Jabaliya.

A strike on a built-up refugee camp in central Gaza killed one person and wounded 18.

Tayseer Ragab told the Associated Press his family's home was hit just after midnight.

"There was no resistance, Hamas or any organization inside this house," Ragab said.

The bodies of the dead were brought to the Shifa and al-Ahli hospitals.

The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the strikes.

When they do, they say that they are targeting Hamas militants or infrastructure belonging to the Palestinian group.

Israel's offensive in Gaza has killed over 54,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, according to Gaza's Health Ministry, which does not say how many of the dead were civilians or combatants.

The war began with Hamas' October 7 attack, in which militants stormed into Israel, killing some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and abducting 251.

Hamas still holds 58 hostages, around a third of them alive, after most of the rest were released in ceasefire agreements.
