GRACE -- Why do Jehovah's Witnesses have such a huge problem with it? (What must I DO to be saved?)

CS Lewis looks at Philippians 2:12,13 -- How can we "work out our own salvation", while at the same time "God is working in us both to WILL and to WORK"? In the world of JW.org/The Watchtower, WE are the main players in our own salvation. In biblical Christianity, salvation begins with God and ends with God. He creates faith in us AND the desire to do HIS will, not our own. God then works IN US to complete our salvation. In the Watchtower world, God is a supporting player -- WE will (or not), HE helps us along AFTER we decide for His will. Of course, in the world of JW.org, our waning will and faith can always cost us eternal life. It is always up to us.
