Pop Up Camper COOLER SLIDER Mod | How to Conveniently Access Your Cooler in Your Front Storage Box!

This video details how to create a cooler slider for your pop up camper front storage box! This enables you to keep your cooler out of the way while your camping and also creates a convenient place to transport your cooler at! You will need the following supplies: Two (2) 2x2x4, One (1) 2x3x4, One (1) 4x4’ piece of 1/2” plywood, One (1) set of 34” (33 1/2”) 260lb sliding rails, a handful of 2” and 3 1/2” screws, a barrel bolt, and finally - if you want to paint - oil-based primer and approximately two (2) cans of spray on bed liner. Much of this will be dictated by the size of your front storage box as well as the size of your preferred cooler. We have an Igloo Sportsman 55, which unfortunately is no longer sold. However, it’s stated dimensions are 31x17.5x18.25 with it being smaller at the base. With the opening dimensions of our new baggage access door being 18.5x18.5”, our cooler just fits with minimal space to spare.
