It's been 4 weeks out of ASQ and the air quality in Bangkok hasn't been exactly great. In other words: I was eyeing a getaway but with so many travel and localized restrictions in place there were not a lot of options as to where I could go for a few days.

Actually, the ONLY place Bangkokians can legally go without any kind of restriction is Krabi and so I decided to book one week at ''The Small Hotel'' in Ao Nang, Krabi!

I had never been to Krabi let alone Ao Nang and whilst people told me beforehand it was going to be a quiet experience.. I would say that what I encountered walking the streets of Ao Nang was something completely shocking:

Ao Nang literally has turned into a ghost town! Someone even said that the consequences of COVID-19 in Krabi/Ao Nang are worse than when the tsunami hit!

Literally, there are no people, everything is closed and it's difficult to even find food outside of 7/11 and Foodpanda.

So in this video, I am taking you with me on a walk with me video as I walk the streets of Ao Nang to give you a good insight into what the impact of COVID has been on the Krabi province and the people of Ao Nang!
