This $4 Lure Caught Me a Beautiful Brown Trout

After a slow morning shooting a real estate property, I grabbed my gear and headed to one of my favorite stream spots in Northeast Pennsylvania for some trout fishing. The fish weren't cooperating at first — I tried spinners, crankbaits, and worked my way downstream through multiple holes without a single strike. I almost called it quits… but I gave it one more cast.
That last cast made all the difference.
In this video I'm testing out my new Gonex waders (grabbed them for $30 on Amazon), throwing a variety of baits including a Panther Martin, crankbaits, and spinners, and just enjoying a beautiful spring day out in God's creation. Spoiler: a brown trout finally showed up when I needed it most.
