Dr Cameron Duff | RMIT University

Dr Cameron Duff's work explores complex health and social problems in urban settings. Recent research has focused on the relationship between health, place and social context with a particular focus on housing insecurity, mental illness and substance use. Cameron's primary aim is to contribute to the development of theoretically informed accounts of housing insecurity, mental illness and substance use, more alert to the social, structural and experiential dimensions of health in urban settings.

Cameron has ongoing international collaborations with scholars at the University of Warwick, University College, London, the University of California at Los Angeles, the University of Toronto and the Centre for Addictions Research at the University of Victoria, Canada where he employs varied qualitative and ethnographic research designs. Cameron will be based in the School of Management.
