Silver Nitrate Bath for Wet Plate Photography (Part One)

Number one in a series of instructional videos for wet plate collodion photography.

The silver nitrate bath will become an old friend if treated and nourished correctly. Mine has been going with help since 2007 and it will be the same with your bath if you treat it right. This video will help you get your initial bath mixed and prepared for years of creativity.

Materials used in this step are:
- Silver Nitrate
- Distilled Water
- ph Test Strips
- Safety Glasses
- Nitrile Gloves
- 500 ml Beaker (or larger)
- Stirring Rod
- Graduated Cylinder
- Hydrometer
