Steampunk Ice Tube Clock based on Arduino and some Portexpander

This is a kind of preview...It is not finished but I wanted to show this little project. It is a IV -18 VF multiplexed 7 segment display. An Arduino Uno two port expander over I2C and two 8bit high side driver. I produce the higher voltage in this clock with a flyback converter from 12 to 40 V. You will need a higher voltage as regular when you multiplex the display. Inside you see a RTC PCB as like a changeable card. The DCF 77 antenna circuit was influenced by the flyback converter.
