Interview with Laura Mata: Career Strategy Lab Alumni & Success Story (Hired as UX Research Manager)

Laura leveled up into a UX Manager role in just 4 months after joining Career Strategy Lab, one of the many success stories we've seen in our career coaching program.

After 15 years as a UX Researcher, Laura’s career plateaued, and she wanted to grow. With a PhD in design and lots of experience, Laura knew that moving toward a management role would make sense.

She struggled to know what to pursue next, so she searched for a program specific to people in UX, Product, and tech – that’s how she found Career Strategy Lab.

After clarifying her future goals, Laura reworked her resume, portfolio, etc and said her job search felt effortless and was shocked at how easy it was.
