For the 10th Anniversary of the Wu Promotion's crown jewel - The Grand Chinese New Year Concert - the Chinese Traditional Orchestra of Zhejiang extensively toured The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Russia. The program featured this incredible piece "Legend of a Heroine -- Mu Guiying", also known as "Mu Guiying Takes Command", interpreted by one of China's most outstanding erhu player, Yu Hongmei. Mu Guiying is a legendary Chinese heroine of the 10th-11th century. Skilled in the art of war, she eventually led her army to rescue his lover Yang Zongbao. Later on, she was taken as symbol of the steadfast woman.
