Today on a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado were going to install part number F2430 from Firestone. First thing were going to do is remove the rubber jounce bumpers. These bumpers are attached directly to the frame, right above the axil. Well go ahead and remove the bumpers by unbolting them from the inside and the fastener uses a 10-millimeter socket. Next well take the upper bracket and attach it to the frame. Well take the new allen head bolt, run it through the bracket, and then run the bolt through a spacer.
