VINTAGE 1977 Gillette Promax Compact 1000 Watt Hair Dryer Model 901

I got this item from my grandmother. Never knew she had it, but sure enough, she did. It's a small, 1000 watt hair dryer from Gillette. Looks to be 1980s vintage, surprising that she got something so late in life (although she lived another 30-some-odd years after that). Perhaps she got it for a good price, perhaps someone gave it to her, I simply don't know. What I do know is that at only 1000 watts, it's nowhere near as likely to blow a breaker or fuse. And I remember the electric service in her old apartment was VERY janky, and still had edison-style fuses in a rusty fusebox!
