This Turtle looks like a Cartoon! NOT FAKE!

Just a man with one of his pet turtles. I have so much love for these googly-eyed friends 👀🐢✨! This is one of my female Vietnamese black-breasted leaf turtles (Geoemyda spengleri). I'm so thankful to own several of these incredible little turtles! Unfortunately, this species is endangered, primarily due to habitat loss and over-collection for food markets. Fortunately, there are several dedicated hobbyists and credited institutions around the world who strive to reproduce these adorable little turtles in captivity. I own six captive-bred leaf turtles (3 males + 3 females), and I hope to breed them someday/contribute to captive-bred populations myself!
