KIS Stall @ Parramasala Festival

Kothu Idly Sweet Stall is a social enterprise showcasing Tamil culture through food with Kothu Roti from Sri Lanka; Idly & Vadai from India; and Pandan Pancakes from Malaysia.

We enabled a newly arrived Australian to follow his passion and display his talents to the wider public.

Kothu is street hawker food from Sri Lanka. It's known by every Sri Lankan. Kothu is a Tamil word for chop.

Parramasala is a festival of South Asian Arts coinciding with Diwali (Deepavali) each year in Parramatta, Sydney Australia. As part of this festival, the food and culture of South Asian community are brought to the Australian public.
