Roger Gill: Multiple Intelligences and Leadership

In this video, Professor Gill explains the importance of multiple intelligences to the practice of leadership. He says that to lead people, you must understand people. This involves not only cognitive knowledge, but also emotional, social, cultural, moral, spiritual and behavioral intelligence.

Roger Gill, Ph.D., is Visiting Professor at Durham University Business School. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Hodos Institute, an independent consultant in leadership and leadership development. He was of Business Administration (OB & HRM) and Director of Executive Development Programs at the University of Strathclyde Business School, where he later served as Visiting Professor of Leadership Studies and Program Director for the MBA in Leadership Studies in collaboration with the Leadership Trust, where he founded and for nine years directed the Research Centre for Leadership Studies. Roger has also served as Visiting Professor at Queen's University, Belfast, and at the Higher Colleges of Technology, United Arab Emirates.
