Normal people are not direct customers of SpaceX, but the company is still valued very highly because its real customers are governments, space agencies, and large corporations, not the general public.

SpaceX is also valued highly because of its reusable rocket technology. By landing and reusing rockets, it has drastically reduced launch costs. This gives it a strong competitive advantage and makes it much cheaper and more reliable than most rivals.

Investors also value SpaceX for its future potential, not just current income. Projects like Starship aim to make space travel far cheaper and support missions to the Moon and Mars. Even if these goals are long-term, they suggest massive future markets in space transport, defense, communications, and space infrastructure.

SpaceX dominates a strategic industry. Space access is critical for national security, GPS, communication, and weather systems. Because SpaceX controls a large share of global launches and satellite deployment, investors see it as a company with long-term importance and strong pricing power.

SpaceX is valued so highly not because normal people buy rockets, but because it controls essential space infrastructure, has powerful government and corporate customers, and holds technology that could shape the future of the space economy.
