In this video, AFBI scientists describe the processes involved in anaerobic digestion and how the biogas is produced at AFBI Hillsborough. We see how the plant has been constructed, and most importantly look at the chemistry in action behind the process. Finally we see how the heat produced used on the farm and across the wider site, along with other renewable energy sources which are evaluated and employed on-farm.
