Vin Garbutt : "Where The Hell Are We Going To Live ?"
From an old cassette tape recording of a live concert on radio, posted in memory of a much-loved singer, musician and performer.
Vin was very good at choosing sometimes comical songs about serious topics, and although this must be over 30 years old, the subject of the affordability of housing, and politicians failure to deal with the problem, is just as relevant, if not more so, today than when this recording was made.
The song has been posted elsewhere on Youtube, but this includes his introduction.
I took the photo of Vin at Aberdeen University Folk Club in 1975, and had the pleasure of hearing him afterwards on several occasions.
