Valuations for jewellery is maybe a little more complicated than it sounds; what type of valuation do you need? Is it for insurance purposes? Is it to know its value for you to sell? Is it the value you could sell it to me for? Is it the value needed for a solicitor in the case of probate? Here I try to explain what the differences mean as clearly as possible.
