Blogging Niches: How BROAD Can You Go? [8 Months Case Study]

I created a site 8-9 months ago with 37 articles to test how important it is to stick to a category with your articles or if you can write about almost anything as long as you go after underserved topics.

I created a brand new site and just let the content sit there for 8-9 months to see what happened. And the results were pretty interesting.

It took a long time before the site took off but it is growing steadily even though I have written on a TON of different stuff. I went all over the place topic-wise and that definitely caused the site to rank much slower.
