Cloud Peak Skyway - Hwy 16, Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming

During my June 2020 road trip from the Mojave Desert to northeast Wyoming I took as many "blue highways" as possible. After driving along the Wind River Canyon Scenic Byway I then followed the Cloud Peak Skyway (Hwy 16) from the tiny town of Ten Sleep toward Buffalo (the fictional seat of the fictional Absaroka County - for you Longmire fans). The Cloud Peak Skyway is marked my 8% grades (easier than Hwy 14 to the north) and stunning scenery. Wildlife is also abundant.
