So what I'm going to do is go ahead and just run the speed test without connected to ExpressVPN. So we have a base sort of test. Now, if you're new to VPNs, something to be aware of, is when you connect to a VPN, it is inevitable, it's going to slow down your speed a little bit. And that's just the nature of physics, you're having to go through an additional server to get the information where you want it to go. The benefit though, again, of using a VPN is you have the anonymity, privacy, geo spoofing all the different benefits that come with having a VPN. So the trick is some VPNs are a lot better at still being really fast or not limiting yourself. speed as much. So let's go ahead and try I'm going to connect to express now. And what I'm going to do is just connect to the smart location, that's the location that would be near me. That should be the fastest. And that's the nice thing about Express is it's geared towards beginners, you can just kind of click a button and things will connect for you. You don't need to know really much else besides that. So I'm going to go ahead and open this in a new tab. And we'll go ahead and run the test again. So we saw with IX, without being connected to a VPN, or through Express, we had a 77 download. And so we're going to see what this looks like with Express. So the idea is you really don't want your speed to drop more than 20%. That's that that would still be a good good performing VPN. Less than 20% for local and no less than 50% for international servers because again, the further the server is away from you Then the slower your speeds are likely to be. Sometimes there's there's variances, but generally speaking, so the fact that we got a download of 7274, and our base was 77, that's again, it's incredible 72.74 divided by 7794 94%. So that's only a drop in speed of 6%, which is really blazing fast for VPN. Anything less than 10% is really good. 6% is phenomenal.
