​🧪 Experiment Overview:
​The goal of this activity is to observe what happens when two colorless solutions are mixed and to identify the indicators of a chemical reaction.

​Preparation: We take a clear solution of Lead Nitrate in a test tube.
​The Reaction: We slowly add a clear solution of Potassium Iodide to it.
​The Observation: Watch as a brilliant yellow precipitate instantly forms! This "Golden Rain" effect is a hallmark of this specific chemical reaction.
​The Science Behind It:
​When these two compounds react, they exchange their ions to form two new substances:
​Lead Iodide (PbI_2): This is the yellow solid (precipitate) that you see. Because it is insoluble in water, it settles at the bottom of the test tube.
​Potassium Nitrate (KNO_3): This remains dissolved in the solution and is colorless.
