Sequential Pro 3 Synth - Bass Sound Demo
The Sequential Pro 3 delivers a wide variety of bass tones, with the three great sounding VCF filters. It features a Moog Transistor Ladder style filter, an Oberheim SEM 2-Pole style state variable filter, and the Prophet OTA 4-Pole filter. The Pro 3 also features a wide variety of gain staging options which allow you to go anywhere from clean sub bass tone, up to gnarly overdriven or distorted tones.
I've designed about 60 bass patches over the past nine months. This video shows about 30 of them... with a few crossover lead tones mixed in that have substantial low end.
If you're interested in getting these patches, I have some sound sets available for the Pro 3 on Sellfy:

I also have some Free Patches available for download on my PresetPatch profile:

FILTER FYI: If you're not familiar with the Pro 3 interface, but interested to know which filter is selected on a per patch basis, you can look at the three lights under the big cutoff knob in the middle. Only one of them is selected at a time:
LEFT: Prophet 4-Pole OTA Filter
MID: Moog 4-Pole Transistor Ladder Style Filter
RIGHT: Oberheim SEM 2-Pole Multimode Style Filter
The question is often asked how the Sequential Pro 3 compares to the Moog Subsequent 37 (Sub 37) and Arturia Matrixbrute... and often people are interested in hearing core bass sounds to compare them... so I put this video together to showcase a variety of bass sounds and bass sequencing capabilities on Pro 3. What do you think? What's the top flagship analog mono synth on the market?
