US Makes It Clear They Were Not Involved in Israel's Operations Against Iran | EWTN News Nightly

The Biden Administration has made it clear that the US was not involved in Israel's offensive operations against Iran. Secretary of State Antony Blinken addressed the conflict today after meeting with allies in Italy. Blinken said, "What we're focused on, what the G7 is focused on, and again, it's reflected in our statement and in our conversation, is our work to deescalating tensions." The White House is echoing the response, after already issuing new sanctions against Iran earlier this week. Karine Jean-Pierre said, "We do not want to see this conflict escalate. We continue to consult with our allies and partners, including in the region, obviously and to reduce further risk of escalation in the region." EWTN Correspondent Tara Mergener reports.
