Biggest Gap between Last Place and Survival in Europe's Major Leagues

In this video, Hazzabhajan takes a look at the biggest points gap between last place and guaranteed survival in any given season in Europe's top 15 leagues, going back to the points when each of them introduced the system of three points for a win.

Examples include French underdogs Arles-Avignon, who in their only season in Ligue 1 back in 2010-11 managed to finish some 26 points away from safety, and Stoke City's disastrous 1984-85 campaign, which saw them cut adrift at the foot of the league and end up 33 points behind the lowest-placed team to survive relegation that year.
