Rio de Janeiro Favela Gang encounter go wrong!...there we are once more in Rio...today I will take you with me into 2 rather dangerous favela neighborhoods. I have been stopped by drug kingpin lookout on gunpoint. The potentially dangerous encounter only went smooth because of my many years of travel experience and "negotiation skills".

This video shows you Rio de Janeiro how People life in Brazil Favela Rocinha & Favela Vidigal; DON'T do what did, a novice traveler could easily end up dead on the sidewalk. I got stopped by drug-gangs with guns. Meeting shady characters...the occasional robbery in a public bus and the police road block aftermath...

However, I also had an equally nice encounter with a family who lives way up on the top and they took me in and showed me places totally of-limit for any visitor, even local Brazilians.

So come with me now...let's walk around 2 Rio Favelas.
