Simple Seared Scallops and Leeks - My Straight Forward Guide To A Delicious Dinner

I'll teach you how to make these simple seared scallops with creamed leeks in this video recipe. It is one of my favorite fish dishes because it’s really easy to put together. I like to use a cast iron pan for the scallops as it gives it a great sear, but you can use any sautè pan. The easy creamed leeks are a great side dish for chicken, steak, or beef.

CREAMED LEEK FONDUE

2 large leeks
3 oz White wine
2 oz Heavy Cream
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 TBL Butter
2 TBL Vegetable Oil
1 TBL Kosher Salt
1 C Shredded Parmesan Cheese

SIMPLE SEARED SCALLOPS

6 Large Scallops
1 TBL Vegetable Oil
2 TBL Butter
Thyme Sprigs (tied with butchers twine)
Salt and Pepper to Taste

PROSCIUTTO CHIP

3 oz Slice Prosciutto
