On the Wrist, from off the Cuff: TRIBUS –TRI 01; a New Brand, Not Brand New to the Watch World

On this episode we review an excellent new offering from a familiar family in the microbrand/independant watch world. The brand TRIBUS was found by the 3 Sons of Christopher Ward; Jonathon, James and Jake Ward. Sure Chris Ward recently left the very popular brand with his namesake but he's ventured back out into the space with his Sons and I couldn't be more pleased. Their debut model, The TRI-01 is just superb and gives us watch fans, so much of what we've been shouting about over the years. Features like a no-date w/o a ghost crown position, a more Swiss Made construction, using actual Swiss Made components, not just the bare minimum to bare the badge, beautiful dial symmetry and balance, wrapped in a versatile and well designed package, executed to an absolute luxury level, in terms of fit and finish. If this is how the Ward brothers come out of the gates, I can't wait to see what they come up with next. Let me know what you all think in the comments below, thanks guys!
