How To Help Your Clients Deal With Heartbreak
“It was like he just ripped a band aid off a wound I didn’t even know I had!” This is how Samantha, a client of mine, described the heartbreak of her (at the time) recent break-up with her love of 7 years.
Love - and more specifically love gone wrong - does really hurt, so in this video I'll share 3 soothing ways you can help your clients overcome the pain of a broken heart beyond giving them sympathy.
In this video I give an example of a story I used (03:53) to feed back to Samantha that I had really sympathized with what she had told me, and the story led to a better place. I also talk about meaning throughout tip number 3 (7:07), which you may find helpful if you yourself are dealing with heartbreak.
