Brendan O’Neill: 'I fear that we are sleepwalking into an authoritarian state'
Columnist Brendan O’Neill has criticised the “new normal” of coronavirus restrictions, as the government increases fines for people who repeatedly refuse to wear a face mask.
Speaking with talkRADIO’s Ian Collins, the Spiked editor said: “I fear that we are sleepwalking into an authoritarian state
“All these very authoritarian measures that are referred to as the new normal – the question is, when will the new normal end and the old normal come back?”
