Puerto Penasco Rocky Point Mexico

We decided to head to Puerto Peñasco better known to Arizonians as Rocky Point for a little 4 day break the day after Christmas 2021. The weather down there is exactly like Arizona...same temperature and everything. During this time of year, you don't go for the tropical breeze as much as you go to walk the beach, feel the sand below your feet and dip your toes in the ocean.

It's super quiet down there during this time and you have the place you yourself, you can get into all the bars and restaurants, you can meet a fair amount of people because it's not so crowded and it's very calm and restful.

If you want warm weather, it's not the time to visit as it can be quite breezy and cold at night but if you want everything else we described, it's the perfect time to visit.
