⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Diesel Locomotive entering the Transit Museum on Rarely-Used Track A2

This video depicts an exceptionally rare and unusual operation. Two tracks, A1, and A2, connect the Transit Museum to the subway system at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street station. Track A1, the southbound track, is the one that is most often used to transfer trains in and out of the Transit Museum.

Track A2 on the other hand, is almost *never* used. It is equipped with full-height doors and a live-monitored security system at both ends for the secure storage of vintage subway cars, if needed. Here, we see a diesel locomotive running down this rarely-used track and then into the Transit Museum through the normally locked and secured door. Quite an unusual and rare sight to see!
