We are going to Moscow in this video during Christmas time. You know what! Christmas is not celebrated on 25 December in Russia.
Red square in Moscow gets beautifully decorated for Christmas and we spent some quality time there. There are lot of historically important buildings of Moscow located around Red square like Saint Basil's cathedral and GUM shopping mall.
A must-see in Moscow are the metro stations built with a unique architectural style, paintings and beautiful artworks. These were built in Stalin's time. It is one of the busiest and deepest underground metro systems in the world.
Kremlin is a castle surrounded by a huge wall. We explored Moscow Kremlin which is now the official residence of the President of Russia. There are palaces and churches inside Kremlin castle. Rulers of Soviet Russia such as Joseph Stalin and Lenin have lived here.
We also visited Izmailovo Kremlin where you can explore models of Russian historical buildings and you can buy traditional Russian homemade stuff and souvenirs in the market located here.
