Secret spot where you can take the best photos with the Glico man sign in Osaka, Japan

If you’re planning to visit Dotonbori in Osaka on your Japan trip and want to take a photo with the Glico man sign, don’t take your photo from the bridge where everyone else is. There’s a much better free spot with a great angle and you can take pictures without getting anybody else in your shot!

How to get there:

1. Go to Ebisubashi footbridge bridge in Dotonbori where everyone is taking pictures of the Glico sign
2. Walk across the bridge to the opposite side from the sign
3. H&M should be on your left, walk down the street next to H&M and enter the cosmetics shop next door called na no ha na
4. Walk straight through the shop and you should see the photo area

1. Alternatively you can also enter the shop from the riverside. Enter the riverside walk in front of H&M
2. Walk ~20m and lookout for a sign about the photo spot and a small set of stairs
3. Go up the stairs and the photo area is right there

Note: this spot is only open between 11am and 8:45pm
