REMOVING PERMANENT BOX DYE IN HAIR & WHY IT WORKED| Easy at home remedy for colored hair, NO BLEACH

Hey guys! Please note that this will not work for *bleached* hair because bleaching causes pigment to be removed from the hair shaft. This method worked really well in taking the black box dye out of my hair and returning it closer to its previous color. Also note that my hair had been previously lightened and that's why the black washed out to a orange-brown. My natural color is black.

I forgot to mention in the video but it's I discovered it was easier to apply the mixture on damp hair so either dampen your hair before application or dampen the strand (what I did) before you apply the paste.

This vitamin C method was cheap and very simple to apply. Depending on how long ago your hair was dyed, how many times you have dyed it, and how porous your hair is, results may vary. But it doesn't hurt to give it a try because it's less harmful than getting it done chemically and you can do it from home!
Remember to deep condition your hair afterwards so that you can avoid drying out your hair! I deep conditioned with my favorite AUSSIE 3-MINUTE MIRACLE for 30 minutes afterwards. To increase the effects of the process I also wrapped the top of my conditioner-lathered hair with a plastic bag to preserve the warmth.

If you guys are looking to just lighten the color your hair was dyed try using less vitamin c pills (for example 10 crushed pills). If it doesn't work add more next time and try again. For lightening it's safer to start with little and experiment each time adding a bit more so that it doesn't completely ruin your colored hair.
