2019 flipthrough + 2020 plan with me
what a record! me, uploading my 2020 plan with me before it's 2020? this is a new year miracle! good start to the new year y'all 🤠 jokes aside, i think 2019 was a fantastic year, and i can't wait to see what the new decade has in store for all of us. hope you have an amazing 2020 and enjoy the video!

i really enjoy all the conversational chatty videos she has because she's very honest about her thoughts and feelings and experiences + i think her videos are wonderfully edited and just brilliant in every way! would highly highly highly recommend her channel!! https://bit.ly/2ti1ii2
♡ mary oliver
her poem, "wild geese" (https://bit.ly/2Q8WlBe), was the first poem that i ever read from her, and it is still stunning no matter how many times i read it. i also enjoyed "in blackwater woods" (https://bit.ly/39jXJsi), so i would recommend these two first!
♡ e.e. cummings
he's definitely got a Style and i can see how it can frustrate some people, but i still rly enjoy it! i like "[i carry your heart with me(i carry it in]" (https://bit.ly/37rqZM9) and "love is the only every god" (https://bit.ly/2SD9XGE)
♡ ocean vuong
ocean vuong has a way of crafting words that just... hit you real good. the first thing i ever read from him was an article titled "reimagining masculinity" (https://bit.ly/39u3y6v) and apologies, it's actually from the paris review and not the new york times. however, "a letter to my mother that she will never read" (https://bit.ly/2ZCwODw) is from the new york times and made me weep.
♡ madeleine saito jubilee
her 30 days of comics challenge from 2019 (https://bit.ly/2MJgLih) is what caught my eye at the very beginning, and that led me down a wormhole of her other works (https://bit.ly/2QbkDL6). all of them are thought-provoking and are illustrated in such beautiful colors.
♡ honorable mentions that didn't make it in the video:
⇨ i had to read a book called "braiding sweetgrass" by robin kimmerer (https://amzn.to/2rGflO5) in my seminar class. kimmerer is a native american botanist, and the way she describes her relationship to the world around her and what she carries with her is so moving and gentle. i thoroughly enjoyed reading the book, and it was probably my favorite reading from the entire class.
⇨ alright, so this is a fic, and sure, sure, you might be like "but seo! fic isn't real literature!" ya i don't care lol here it is: "the real banishment is the family we made along the way" by scioscribe (https://bit.ly/2MHMikK) is a lovely little fic about hela from the movie "thor: ragnarok." granted, i know nothing about the mcu and rarely watch movies, but this is so very good and would definitely recommend to anyone out there without shame.
