Concert of Traditional Music of the Islamic People

Internationally renowned musicians, and traditionally trained, Rana Sheih, Samia Ahmed (http://www.samiaclassicalmusic.com/), and Debu Nayak (http://www.tablaguy.com/home.html), engage each other in a musical dialogue between the Persian and Indian subcontinent world through a series of Raags mirroring the movement of the day from dawn to dusk. This concert was part of a two-day event: Intellectuality and Spirituality in the Islamic Tradition--A Prelude to the Perennial Philosophy, held at The George Washington University (May 21-22, 2016).
