Brief Blurb: Indie-folk duo JC & the Tree writes melodies from the mountains to sea and life between. Incorporating violin, vocal harmonies, piano and self handmade acoustic guitars. This duo takes their audiences on a journey through genres including folk, singer-songwriter and rock with touches of gypsy, metal and funk.
Lead singer Jesse Tree and Violinist Jacinta Rose (JC) formed JC and the Tree in early 2019 due to their mutual love and passion for music. Both have played their instruments since they were children. Jacinta started Violin and Piano at 4 and was trained classically achieving grade 8 standard on both. Jesse studied guitar his whole childhood and has been singing and writing songs ever since he picked it up. JC has a long history of performing with various acts across the globe at such well known festivals as Glastonbury (UK), Splendour in the Grass (AU) Bluesfest (AU) & WOMAD (UK). Combining their passion and experience since forming in early 2019 they have had a great response to their first album BETWEEN LAND AND SEA, along with their latest single LETTING GO.
