Day-12 of Lockdown | Life in a Village | Farmer and His Family | India

Today is Day-12 of national lockdown in India. We are worried about daily wage workers and how they are going to cope with the current lockdown. It is heartening to know that all arms of government are trying their best to reach out and help them as much as they can.

We also need to think about farmers who have crops ready for harvesting but this has been disrupted due to lockdown. While keeping this in mind, I decided to upload this video which takes you through some farms and farmer and his family going about their daily tasks. This footage was shot a couple of days back by my dear friend Ridham while visiting his village. I hope this video brings a smile to your face and cheer to your heart.

I know its hard to stay at home for such a long time but these measures are for our safety. Isolation is the biggest weapon we have against Corona followed by awareness and hygiene.

I request everyone across the globe to do their bit to fight this pandemic. Our forefathers had to fight wars in distant corners of the world for freedom and liberty. Our task is much easier and let's stay at home to preserve our way of life.
