Despite these challenges, this tenacious startup prevailed. In the process, they grew to a $2.5 billion firm with $134 million in revenue and a $2.5 million profit.
Strategy #1: Compete with the big fish.
Strategy #2: Locate the user.
Strategy #3: Habit alteration.
These methods are clearly working, as their revenues more than quadrupled last year, surpassing their primary competition, Titan Eyeplus.
As a result, they are now aiming to grow outside of India. After receiving $220 million in finance last week, CEO Peyush Bansal stated that the money will be used to expand into South East Asia and the Middle East.
Lenskart may easily dominate these new markets with such savvy techniques. We are looking forward to seeing their growth in the next years.
