How I Write Simple Guides That Rank in Google and Make Money

I've been writing and outsourcing these simple 5-10 step guides for a long time and overall I have very good luck with them.

You don't always need to do a 3500 word "ultimate guide" every time. I've done those before too though. I remember once writing a 6000 word ultimate guide with something related to hiking. It totally flopped.

I ended up breaking it into 3 parts and publishing them as 3 separate posts. Each of those 3 articles on their own now do better than the original.

If you find the right topics you can publish short, easy guides that will rank and don't require a ton of research or time. When I say short I mean anywhere from 800-1200 words typically.

In addition to placing ads to monetize, there is tremendous affiliate potential in these articles because there is buyer intent involved. If a problems needs to be solved, then someone is likely to buy a product that will help them. You just have to be the one to recommend it to them.
