AutoHotkey Overview | Intro to AutoHotkey and Overview

This is an AutoHotkey Overview I did for a Computer Science club.
I gave a brief background on AutoHotkey, how people use it, Real examples how I've used it and then did a little sample codes

We discuss a survey I had done in the past which helps show some AutoHotkey competitors like powershell, imacro, dos, etc. We also discuss who uses AutoHotkey, other programming languages AutoHotkey users also use, and the types of companies where ahk users work.

This deck is a high-level intro to AutoHotkey and discusses some how it fits into the programming world. Joe Glines has worked with AutoHotkey for over 10 years and helps people work smarter, not harder.

3.6 Ctrl+W quickly removes text from the right of a specified string using a regular expression.

4.1 I can quickly strip formatting from text and images and copy them to my clipboard with a few keystrokes.

4.3 I created an API call to Zoom, stored the data in an object, looped over the registrants to get their first name, last name, email address, and date they subscribed, and then pasted it into Excel with a top row frozen, colored, bold, and shaded.
4.4 Autohotkey can be used to quickly send personalized emails in bulk.
4.5 SQL Assister quickly uppercases, alphabetizes, and dedupes data with one click.
4.6 Clean up a list of items and run a query on them by using search replace, truncating, and deduping.
