Force Strict Templates in Angular Language Service #angular

Angular Language Service extension includes the Force Strict Templates option, which allows you to enforce strictTemplates rules in your IDE independently of your global Angular build configuration. This setting creates a "split reality" workflow where your editor validates code strictly, catching errors immediately, even if the production build remains relaxed.

In this video, I demonstrate exactly how to configure and use these two simultaneous strictness levels to improve your development process.

Split Reality: One Project. Two Strictness Levels.

Real-world User Case Examples:
● Legacy Migration: Safely refactor massive codebases file-by-file without breaking the CI pipeline.
● Modern Safety: Detect silent type errors in new features that "relaxed" builds let slip through.
● Personal Standards: Enforce strict quality on your own work without forcing a team-wide configuration change.
