Introducing the INCREDIBLE 2022 Mazda CX-50 - Top SUV On The Market?!

There is a new SUV in town that might take attention away from the Mazda CX-5. The 2023 Mazda CX-50 just joined the competition of the SUVs. But is the new Mazda CX-50 worth buying over the CX-5? Let's look at how much these SUVs have in common.

In this video, we will be talking about the specs that make the new Mazda CX-50 better than the rest of its competition! So clearly, you don't want to miss out on this, and so, without further ado, let's start with today's video.

Mazda recently announced their newest SUV, the CX-50 which will have the traditional design and looks of a Mazda, but it is clear that Mazda is trying to break into a new market. With the crossover craze still going strong in the US, carmakers are now making these vehicles very similar to each other.
The Mazda CX-50 crossover is said to be the template for how the Japanese brand adopts a more adventurous stance with their SUVs. The CX-50 will be the first Mazda built at the new Mazda Toyota Manufacturing plant in Alabama.
The new 2023 CX-50 and the existing Mazda CX-5 are pretty much the same in size and names.
The CX-50 utilizes Mazda's small platform chassis, which shares bits with the CX-30 and CX-5 SUVs. Mazda says, "While the CX-50 and CX-5 are both compact crossover vehicles, the Mazda CX-50 has been optimized for the outdoors."
The 2023 CX-50 is said to be cheaper and less street-oriented than Mazda's other small crossover.

Mazda has done wonders across its lineup in terms of design. Their most recent Kodo design language is classy and also has an air of sportiness. The CX-50's design is immediately recognizable and channels Mazda's "Kodo" visual language. The CX-50 has a broadly similar grille and headlight design to the CX-5. The Senior Director Of Mazda Design America, Yasutake Tsuchinda said, "The first-ever Mazda CX-50 is about inspiring drivers to find new places, experiences, and challenges that can only be discovered in the outdoors."
Despite the 2023 CX-50's more off-road mission. This will most likely be positive that the CX-50 draws a staggering amount of resemblance to the Mazda CX-5. The CX-5 is Mazda's best seller after all.

The factor that separates the CX-50 from the CX-5. The design of the CX-50 is more rugged and clearly conveys that it is meant to be driven on more than just the road.

While ruggedly aesthetic in appearance, the CX-50 hides away the standard Mazda handling attributes within.
The Sport mode is like any of Mazda's Sport modes, that quickens the throttle response and directs the transmission to hold gears longer, rather than shifting up the second a driver lets off the throttle. The CX-50's towing mode is self-explanatory, but with a Mazda twist behind it.
Moreover, the G-Vectoring Control is also used in Off-Road mode. Unlike the off-road modes in some competitors, there is only one catch-all selection: no mud, sand, snow, or any other sub-options are to be found in the 2023 CX-50.
For hills, the CX-50 senses the angle and raises the idle speed for a smoother transition from idle to torque application, and the torque converter lockup is delayed for smoother power delivery when traversing larger obstacles or pointed skyward; the anti-lock brake system is used to prevent the CX-50.

For now, only the non-turbocharged and turbocharged 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G engines have been announced by Mazda as the powertrains for the CX-50. Mazda also confirmed that the all new 2023 CX-50 will only be sold with the i-Activ AWD setup.
Every Mazda CX-50 will utilize a six-speed automatic gearbox, though there has been no word on a low-range gearbox for the i-Activ system in the new CX-50.
At the moment, an MSRP has not been announced. Mazda does promise that and other details will be revealed at a date closer to the CX-50's arrival in dealerships. But, if you are ready to zoom-zoom into the wild, then the 2023 Mazda CX-50 is an excellent option to consider.
