The agreement, announced May 29, allows Nio's three brands—Nio, Onvo, and the upcoming Firefly—to access Zeekr Power stations through their car’s built-in navigation, mobile apps, or Nio’s Jiadian app.

This partnership means more convenience for drivers, as it adds Zeekr’s 1,580 supercharging stations to Nio’s already extensive network of 2,829 supercharging sites and 3,337 battery swap stations across China. Zeekr becomes the 18th brand to join Nio’s open charging platform, which already includes names like Xiaomi EV, Chery, Huawei HIMA, and FAW Hongqi.

This kind of cross-brand collaboration is rare among direct competitors but reflects the growing push for broader access and easier public charging as the Electric Vehicle market expands.
