2024 McLaren 750S review: New 552kW V8 supercar brings fight to Ferrari 296 GTB and Maserati MC20!

The 2024 McLaren 750S coupe has burst onto the supercar scene, where it's looking to put the frighteners on the Ferrari 296 GTB plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and the more traditional V6-powered Maserati MC20, among other high-end two-doors.

Woking's new beast has a two-cylinder advantage over its competition, though, taking its McLaren 720S predecessor's 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V8 engine to the next level. How so? Well, just look at its maximum outputs: 552kW of power (+22kW) and 800Nm of torque (+30Nm). Needless to say, it means business – serious business.
